Task 2:

Task 3:

I usually spend 5 - 30 minutes on different websites and visit them 1 - 10 times a day, most of the time I use a website to catch up and see what is new, but sometimes I stay on it for a while. I usually use social media apps such as Instagram or Twitter, I often use these when I am not busy and have nothing to do, I don’t use them much when I am doing something else or with other people, however I listen to music when I am walking or in a car/public transport. I don’t think that using the internet wastes my time as I usually use it for something I like and there is a wide range of information on the internet that I sometimes see.

Task 4:

  • Giveaway a free album via Twitter, to enter the giveaway: like and retweet, and comment your favourite song by the artist.
  • Post screenshots of the album, being listened to by me, on Instagram and Twitter.
  • Give away merchandise to some people that post pictures/tweets using a hashtag related to the artist or label.
  • Get promotions on Twitter and Instagram.
  • Write articles about song recommendations on apps such as WHI.

Task 5:

“Social networks don’t bring us closer together as we now talk through computers rather than to each other.” I disagree with this statement as I have met many people from around the world through social networks. It is true that we do not talk to people in person as much anymore, however we meet people we would not have known without social media. I believe talking over a call or text is the same as talking in person; you are still talking to the person, the only difference is that the person you are talking to is not physically in front of you.
